Bisexuality: are you curious?

Posted in Films on May 11, 2009 by Karina

This is a long form short that I produced and directed in Dallas, Texas in 2004. It was my senior film at the University of North Texas. It’s made up of interviews I had with people in the bisexual community. I used actors to portray these interviews since some of the participants were still not “out” and felt uncomfortable about being on camera. Bisexuality: are you curious? was accepted into the Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival in 2005.

Inauguration Celebration!

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on February 1, 2009 by Karina

This month I bring you something a little different. It’s a small video and array of photos of some of my dearest friends and I at the inauguration. It was an experience of a lifetime and I wouldn’t trade it for the 3 day hangover due to standing out in the cold for 10 hours.  It was the first moment in my life where I got to be a part of patriotism and proud of my country. So pat yourself on the back we are gonna get through this rough year together, check out the pics and video.

Merry Videos!

Posted in Films on December 24, 2008 by Karina

Hello and happy holidays to everyone!

Here are two videos as my holiday gifts to you all. The first video hide and seek is a video that I shot with my sisters over Thanksgiving break. Thanks to my lovely family and the Thomas family for being such good sports.

The second video is actually produced by my good friend Libby and is called Unbearlievable Dance About Town. I shot some of the NYC, Brooklyn, and Cuba lake footage. It’s such a cute video I thought it’d be nice to share.

So enjoy everyone and have a Great Christmas and a Happy New Year’s!

Being a little bit of a novice to stop motion animation; I thought I would dabble in it with this cute story. This was shot on my digital camera and the faces were created in photoshop. I used Final Cut to edit the audio and visuals together.  Special thanks to Robert Officer for helping shoot the images of the spiders. Music by Emmet Ray.
